This flat was to be rented out and the customer wanted to bring it up to the modern standards. It wasn't a major refurbishment - property layout stayed the same, only the bathroom and toilet, kitchen were completely renovated, rooms redecorated and new flooring, doors installed
As always, the customer wanted it to be done in the shortest possible time. And we nearly completed this project in less than two months but then we had to wait another few weeks for granite worktops to come in to finish it all. In the beginning of the project we strongly advised to rewire the whole flat - but the customer didn't see it necessary. And then few months later we had to come back to sort out the old electrics - and the cost of repairs were nearly the same as if he had a new rewiring done in the beginning. So, really it's not worth saving on electrics or plumbing - these are always the most important jobs (although hidden) in any refurbishment project.
Below - few images of how this property looked before us.
